Your booking is a package arranged and sold by Easy2Africa. Your prepayments are protected, we carry tour operator liability insurance, and one company stands behind the whole trip.

Insolvency protection Tour operator liability insurance One company responsible for your trip

Insolvency protection

If we were to become insolvent, the payments you have made for your package are protected, and where your package includes transport, your repatriation is covered too. Your booking documents set out the insolvency protection that applies to your trip.

One company is responsible

We are the organiser of your package, not a middleman. The insolvency of an individual supplier does not remove our responsibility for your trip. One company is accountable, from the first email to the last night in the bush.

Tour operator liability insurance

We carry tour operator liability insurance covering insured legal liabilities arising from our business, subject to the policy terms. This is separate from the insolvency protection above and from your own travel insurance.

Your personal travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance from the time you book, for cancellation, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, repatriation and baggage. It protects your personal risks; it does not replace our obligations to you.

In plain terms

What this means
for you.

Your prepayments are protected if we fail. One company is responsible for the whole package. Refunds you are owed are paid within 14 days, and are not held up while we recover money from suppliers. Insolvency protection, liability insurance and your own travel insurance each cover different things, and together they mean your trip and your money are properly looked after.

Note: no insurance limit reduces the responsibility we otherwise owe you. The specific insolvency-protection scheme and certificate reference for your booking are shown in your booking documents, and the protections that apply depend on where your trip is contracted. Full detail is in our Terms & Conditions.
