Day one you will depart from OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg on your flight out to Kasane. Your guide will assist you with your check-in and you will depart on your exciting Chobe Fishing Safari.
Upon arrival in Kasane, you will be transferred to your Luxury River Lodge on the banks of the mighty Chobe River where you will spend one night. A luxury tented lodge on the south –side of the Impalila Island in the Caprivi Strip near the Namibian border. Thatched main buildings house the lounging and dining areas. Plenty of shady trees helps provide an excellent backdrop to a lodge that provides, great service, tasty food with outstanding safari and fishing experiences.
Chobe, the rhythms of nature continue undisturbed by man. It is not uncommon to encounter entire herds of elephants, and other game, ambling unflustered across our path.
From your lodge on the banks of the Chobe River, you can experience true relaxation under the blue African sky.
Highlights in Chobe include sightings of large elephant herds and wily African buffalo, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck, impala, various species of birds, and waterfowl. Many of the animal species seen here aren’t to be found anywhere else in the world.
Enjoy true African cuisine in the evenings, surrounded by the African nocturnal choir all in true African Style.

After breakfast, your guide will accompany you aboard the Chobe Princess, your luxury houseboat on the Chobe River. You will spend three nights abroad drifting peacefully down the river and experiencing unique scenery and wildlife.
Activities available at Chobe include Game Viewing at Chobe offers the opportunity to view the abundant elephant and other big game species and also the possibility of an encounter with one of the large predators. This can all be enjoyed from the comfort of your houseboat or fishing boat. The Chobe River offers one of the finest game viewing experiences in Africa. With over 80 000 elephants in the park alone they are a very frequent sighting. Hippo, water birds, buffalo, crocodiles, and puku are also viewed from the river.
Fishing for the legendary Tigerfish and several species of Bream not only provides an exciting fishing experience but excellent game viewing (crocodile, hippo, elephant, buffalo) and birding as well. Inchingo Lodge and your private houseboat, The Chobe Princess, has a fleet of high-quality boats, each with its own dedicated guide. Excellent opportunities for fishing, in what is undoubtedly the premier fishing waters of Africa. High-quality fishing tackle is available and a knowledgeable guide is on hand for all expeditions.
Guided Island Walks and a Visit to local villages is also an option during your stay.
Enjoying our last morning activities and breakfast thereafter you will depart by boat to Kasane to catch your flight to Johannesburg. You will be assisted by your guide with check-in from Kasane to Johannesburg.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will take your connecting flight back home.
